As we enter the 21st century the issue of sustainability presents both the greatest constraints and the greatest opportunities for all types of organisations. Business, all levels of government and civil society are developing sophisticated frameworks for environmental management that meet sustainability goals whilst ensuring that local and international environmental commitments are met.
|
As a result, environmental professionals in this fast-changing context are in high demand and there is a need to update our knowledge and skills accordingly.
If you are an environmental professional or hope to become one, or you simply want to understand the complexity of environmental issues facing the world today, the IES has five programs to meet your needs: Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Master of Environmental Management (MEM) and Post Graduate Research Masters or PhD.
The Institute aims to deliver flexible, practical programs that combine a solid foundation in environmental management with a choice from a wide range of electives, culminating in comprehensive knowledge outcomes designed to develop or enhance your career.
Prospective students from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds are encouraged to apply. I welcome you to the IES, whether as a student, researcher, alumnus or colleague.
