Sofia Haidar is the Executive Officer for the Institute of Environmental Studies
Her role comprises the Financial, Administration and Human Resources management of the IES.
Sofia enjoys getting to know the students and ensuring that their educational experience is a positive one. She continually aims to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the IES for all students and staff, and is inspired by the lives and project work of the people who study through the Institute.
Sofia has been employed at UNSW since 2001, including working as an administrative officer for the School of English.
Sofia has been accepted into a law degree which she hopes to use as a stepping stone towards a future in environmental law.
